Acceptable 8 is a motel located between Springfield and Serenity Falls.
History
Homer, Moe, Lenny, and Carl stopped at Acceptable 8 on their way to Serenity Falls to scatter Larry's ashes. In the motel room they shared, the four of them argued over which version of the afterlife was real. The next morning, Homer accidentally knocked Larry's urn over, which scattered his ashes and several sapphires that were in Larry when he was cremated, over the floor.
Acceptable 8 also gives out two free continental breakfast vouchers with its rooms.
