A Father's Watch is a self-published novel by Homer.
History
Homer was jealous of Bart when the boy was given the Simpson's Pocket Watch, a rare watch that passed by many Simpson's generations but that Abe never gave to Homer. Homer was so obsessed with getting the watch to the point that he wrote a self-published novel about it, named A Father's Watch. The protagonist of the novel is John Homer who, according to Homer, is only partially based on him.
