Tom Hanks is an Academy Award winning American actor. He voiced Sheriff Woody in the sequels of Pixar's movie Toy Story.
He appeared as himself in The Simpsons Movie in a commercial informing viewers of a new Grand Canyon, we would be located where Springfield is. He also appears in the credits saying "if you see me in person please leave me be".
