"The Forgiveness Song" is a song sung by Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson and the Garbage-eating husband.
History
When Homer, Bart and the people from the Brokewood Apartments watch the British movie, Love, Indubitably, Homer had an idea to make a grand romantic gesture for the forgiveness of his girls (specially Marge Simpson, the Homer's wife and Mary Spuckler, the Bart's girlfriend), so the girls were invited to a grand gesture, who is this song in the genre of classical music.

- The song is a parody of Friedrich Schiller's song "Ode To Joy".
- When singing this song, Homer sings the line: "The melody is by Beethoven" and Bart then sings: "Not bad for a movie dog". Homer is referring to the composer while Bart is referring to the film Beethoven.
