Synopsis
- "After going to a used book sale at the library, Homer and Lisa take some books to the Springfield Retirement Castle, where Grampa reads to them from The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde. However, without his missing glasses, Grampa's take on the Irish poet and playwright's fairy stories become truly wild indeed."

The Picture of Dorian Gray
Dorian Gray has picture day in the school but he does not like his portrait. When it is lunch time, the bullies attempt to steal his lunch money but fail and give up. Dorian discovers that his portrait got all the bangs and he visits his dad at work and Homer begins to strangle him because he skipped school. Dorian is still not moving, however his portrait is suffering, the same thing happens when he eats a large glass meal. The school's students think Dorian is brave for taking so many risks and not let it scratch on him, but when Dorian says his friendship with his best friend is over, his portrait begins to cry.
Dorian sits on the couch and watches TV for the third night in a row and his sister starts to think it's strange that he did not need to sleep, and Dorian tells the truth why he can do it so her sister steals the picture and gives him a mustache and glasses by drawing it on projeket and get him to start to smell bad. Dorian gets laughed at by his old friends and when his dog finds the photo as his sister hide under his dad's socks destroys the photo and Dorian's looks like what would happen if the image never existed.
The Selfish Giant
There was once a giant who lived in a magical kingdom where he had everything he wanted, but once when he was swimming in his pool was full of ice and he beat his head into the ice before the ice is crushed and he ends up in the icy water. On the radio hearing the giant that it will become warm summer weather everywhere except in the selfish giant's garden where it will be cold. Giant discovers later that it's just cold around him when he sees leprechaun kids playing for themselves in his garden on a patch of green, but when he chases away the kids will be cold there were leprechauns was. A leprechaun will is still with Homer and starting to play with the giant and thinks he's funny and becomes his new friend. The giant loves his new friend then it is always summer beside him and after a while his entire garden soon becomes green. The leprechaun persuades the giant to let his friends also play with him and he accepts it. The Giant tell to the leprechaun that he was cold-hearted for so long that his garden was freezing but his love has brought summer back, a leprechaun points then it's his environmental damage that has made the cold stayed longer but he does not believe in it, and starting drive with his large jeep with in the nature.
The Remarkable Rocket
A couple of rockets are going to perform and one of the rockets argue that the audience will just like him and not the other, which the others do not believe. The rocket talks to Sideshow Bomb what he should do and he says he'll explode a spiky-haired boy. The rocket tells him to not do political things for it's his things. The rocket seeing then a happy rocket which says he is glad for he lights up the audience's life the rocket recalls him they are the stars, he is then visited by a spiky-haired boy which survived the bomb and he tell him his is biggest fan and want an autograph, but he is not giving one. The rocket is next up on the stage but he is not ready until after a while but it turns out that the crowd has went for they was bothered to waiting. The rocket says then that he trying next time, a man points then there will be no next time for they need him in the war.
Grampa then discovers that Homer has gone but Lisa then enters his room with more books and ask him to read a Agatha Christie book for him as he begins to do.
