She voiced Mary Spuckler in the season 19 episode "Apocalypse Cow" and the season 24 episode "Moonshine River" and will again in the also season 24 episode "Love Is a Many-Splintered Thing"[1]. She also voiced herself in FOX's 25th Anniversary Special.
Deschanel also wrote the music for the song "The Ballad of Cylinder Head" which was in "Moonshine River".
