History
When Bart was phoning various countries in the Southern Hemisphere to ask if their water drained clockwise, Ecuador was one of the countries seen on his globe.[1]
As the family searches for Bart in Peru, Homer says that their search will go a lot easier now that that "unpleasantness in Ecaudor" is behind them.[2]
