Mannix is a TV show centered on the titular private detective played by Mike Connors.
History
After Bongo managed to make a baby Homer sleep, Abe told Mona Simpson that they could now sit down and watch Mannix as a couple. When Mona left, Abe said that he didn't have a clue that she was going to leave, and then looked at a picture of him watching Mannix while Mona was packing her bags.[1]

When Bart attempted to return the zombies to their graves and accidentally turned Lisa into a snail, the incantation consisted of the names of 1970s TV detective shows and characters: Kolchak, Mannix, Banacek, and Danno (Hawaii Five-O).[2]
