The Centenneplex was a movie theater in Springfield that was supposed to replace the Aztec Theater.
History
The Centenneplex was scheduled to replace the Aztec Theater in two weeks time, with the new building set to be dropped on top of the Aztec Theater. However, a huge tidal wave passed over Springfield and washed the theater out to sea. Horatio McCallister and Gil Gunderson, who were stranded on a small island, went into the theater and watched Castaway 2.
