"I Want You (She's So Heavy)" is the sixteenth episode of season 30 of The Simpsons and the six hundred fifty-fifth episode overall. It originally aired on March 10, 2019. The episode was written by Jeff Westbrook and directed by Steven Dean Moore. It guest stars Wallace Shawn as Wallace the Hernia.
"I Want You (She's So Heavy)" was dedicated in memory of Luke Perry, who died on March 4.
Contents
Synopsis
- "When a romantic night ends in injury, Marge recovers by taking up kiteboarding while Homer bonds with his hallucinated hernia. Lisa attempts to fix her parents' strained relationship by seeking advice from an unlikely source: Shauna and Jimbo."
Plot
Marge and Homer are going out for a mandatory drug meeting, so they hire Shauna as a babysitter, but Jimbo sneaks in as well. At the Springfield Suites, Chalmers and Skinner present the meeting, but when Marge and Homer get bored, they sneak out and discover the Springfield Wedding EXPO.
Meanwhile, at home, the kids are watching a scary movie. When Shauna and Jimbo start kissing, Lisa, Bart, and Maggie step out and go to Flanders' house at Ned's invitation.
