Izzy's Deli is a deli in Springfield's Lower East Side. They have several sandwiches named after celebrities, including one named after Krusty the Clown.

History[edit]

The food on the Izzy's Deli menu is named after American personalities, including entertainer Joey Bishop, stand-up comedian Jackie Mason, and actor Bruce Willis.^[1]

In 1985, there was an Izzy's Deli in front of Moe's Cavern.^[2]

The owner of the deli was one of several restaurant proprietors in Springfield who plotted to assassinate Homer for giving their restaurants bad reviews.^[3]

Izzy's Deli is based on the real Izzy's Deli in Cincinnati, Ohio.^[4]
