Showgirls is a film about the backstage drama of topless showgirls in Las Vegas. Marge took Homer to the Aztec Theater to see it.
Plot
There was a dispute between showgirl Nomi and a stagehand.

Behind the Laughter
Showgirls is a real-life flop was released in 1995. It was considered controversial due to its subject matter and was poorly received by both audiences and critics over its over-acting, awful dialogue, nonsensical plot, and the dictionary definition of the male gaze.
In the movie there is a subplot of Nomi befriending Molly, a seamstress and costume designer at the Stardust Hotel and Casino.
