John Mahoney (June 20, 1940 - February 4, 2018) was an English-born American actor, best known for playing Martin Crane, the father of Kelsey Grammer's character Frasier Crane in Frasier. He voiced Robert Terwilliger, Sr., Sideshow Bob's father, in the season 19 episode "Funeral for a Fiend".
