Game Information
|
Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge is a golfing video game which was released around the same time as the popular video game Bonestorm.
History
Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge did not sell well and also proved to be unpopular as a rental because it was seen as boring and slow-paced. When Bart Simpson attempted to rent Bonestorm from Comic Book Guy's shop, he was informed that while Bonestorm was completely checked out, there was an abundance of copies of Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge available for rent.
Bart received a copy of the game as a present from Marge. When Marge saw what Bart had gotten for Christmas, she was so pleased that she allowed Bart to open his Christmas present early. Bart eagerly opened the package, expecting to find a copy of Bonestorm, only to find Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge. Bart was disappointed but still smiled and hugged Marge.
Bart then played the game, trying to make it exciting by using the "power drive" setting for a putt and sending the ball flying into the parking lot. However, he quickly became bored with it and stopped playing.[1]
An arcade version of Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge was at Clangerz by 'Zerz.[2]
Behind the Laughter
