First appearance: "Homer Simpson in: "Kidney Trouble""

Call Me Delish-Mael is a taffy shop shaped like a boat located in a dock in Springfield.

History[edit]

Homer mistook the shop for a ship and asked a person working there if he could be a first mate. After finding out it was actually a taffy shop he decided he didn't deserve any since he had left his father to die in hospital.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The shop's name is a pun on "Call me Ishmael", the opening line in the novel Moby-Dick.
