Bart gives Üter his cookie, and it dawns on him that the heavier the person making the jump is, the farther the balloon will travel. With this realization, Bart offers Üter his entire lunch, and [[Wendell]]'s as well, which is okay with Wendell as he was feeling nauseous and wasn't going to eat it. While Üter eats, Bart begins setting up another water balloon on the seesaw.

Just then, Lisa comes along and says she noticed Bart "analyzing the relationships among force, position, velocity and acceleration". Bart is flabbergasted, and Lisa explains that his catapult is using the physics of projectile motion to launch objects through space. She then completes her thought by saying that it's nice to see him having fun with math.

At this, Bart is utterly dismayed. He gags in disgust, then tosses the water balloon over his shoulder and walks away in a huff. Üter, now nearly finished eating, asks Bart where he's going, and Lisa chuckles to herself at having spoiled Bart's fun: "Heh, heh! I just took the fizz out of his physics!"

The Uter Bomber is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #33.

Synopsis[edit]

Wanting to fling water balloons across the schoolyard on a see-saw, Bart enlists the help of Üter.

Plot[edit]

During recess at Springfield Elementary School, Bart tries to use a see-saw to launch a water balloon. However, when he jumps onto it, the balloon just falls onto his head. Bart realizes that he needs something heavier on the end of the see-saw and spots Üter, offering him a cookie to jump on the see-saw. Üter does so, and the balloon flies and gets Lisa wet. Bart realizes that the heavier Üter is, the farther the balloons will travel, so he lets Üter have his and Wendell's entire lunches if he keeps jumping on the see-saw.

As Bart prepares the next balloon, Lisa approaches him and tells him that she couldn't help but notice he was analyzing the relationships among force, position, velocity, and acceleration as his catapult uses the physics of projectile motion to launch objects. She then says that it's nice to see Bart having fun with math. Bart is shocked by this revelation and throws his water balloon on the ground. As he walks away, Üter asks where Bart's going because he's running out of lunches, and Lisa smugly says that she took the fizz out of physics.
