The Simpsons visited the monkey garden once, where Homer told the family to look at the monkeys' stupid antics. The monkeys resembled the family. When the 'Homer monkey' punched the 'Bart monkey' in the head, the family laughed, so Bart came up to the cage and told his monkey doppelgänger, "Hey man, I know just how you feel". The 'Bart monkey' then dropped a peanut into Bart's hand, thinking he was one of the monkeys. While a sign read "Do not feed or tease", Homer ignored the sign and repeatedly teased the monkeys, by holding out peanuts, then taking the packet away. The rest of the family commented on how mean Homer was being to the monkeys, but Homer ignored them. In revenge, one of the monkeys threw a pile of their excrement into Homer's face, with Bart praising them for doing so. In the car ride home, Homer commented on how that is the final time Homer will take the children to the zoo. Marge told Homer to calm down, when Homer turned around, hearing monkey sounds, and screamed to the fact that the 'Bart monkey' (wearing Bart's clothes), who switched himself with Bart so he could be with another family, was in the back seat of the car and not Bart. Marge wondered where Bart was, when in the monkey garden, Bart, mistaken for his monkey doppelgänger, was being held by the 'Marge monkey' naked. Bart said that he loves his family and can't possibly eat another banana, until the 'Homer monkey' stuffed one in his mouth.

A Derren Brown Christmas is a Christmas documentary starring Derren Brown.

Derren Brown went to Springfield to film A Derren Brown Christmas. He chose Springfield because there was no feeling of Christmas spirit in the town. So that he wouldn't reveal what he was really doing to the townspeople, he told Mayor Quimby and the people of Springfield that the town had won an award for being the "Christmasiest" Town in America, and he and Hark Media were there to film a documentary about it. After getting permission to film, Derren Brown focused on his first target, Gil Gunderson. Derren set up a stunt involving a baby carriage rolling down a hill toward Gil, who stopped it and supposedly saved the baby inside. However, the baby was placed in the carriage after it was stopped. Upon being told that he had saved the baby, Gil phoned his estranged wife Bonnie and was told he could spend Christmas with the family...
