Beach Blanket Boondoggle is a surfing movie. It stars Frankie Adonis as Moondoggie.
History[edit]
The Simpson family watched Beach Blanket Boondoggle at the Aztec Theater. While watching the film, Bart recognized Grampa as the stunt double for Frankie Adonis. He told Raphael to pause the film so they could confirm this.
When Bart questioned Grampa about this, Grampa told him that he served as the surf stunt double for Frankie Adonis because Adonis didn't want to get his hair wet. He went on to be a double in twenty-four films.
Plot[edit]
Moondoggie is challenged to a surf-off by the yacht club president' son. When his opponent goes surfing on a solid gold surfboard, it immediately sinks. Moondoggie then hoes out on the waves to win the surf-off.
