Diary of a Mad Sax Camper is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #15.
Synopsis[edit]
- Lisa goes to Camp Mel-O-Cool, a music camp, for the summer, but has a horrible time. That changes when she meets her saxophone instructor, Justin.
Plot[edit]
Lisa boards the school bus to go to Camp Mel-O-Cool, a saxophone camp, for the summer. Marge tells her that her canker sore will be gone before she knows it, and Homer tells her not to spend her own money, but to mooch it off her friends instead. This embarrasses Lisa, who can't wait to get away from her family. On the journey, Lisa is optimistic about the camp, despite a girl constantly playing "Yakety Sax".
