Toon Times is a newspaper seen on The Itchy & Scratchy Show.
History[edit]
Scratchy died, and Itchy was despondent with grief. He quickly cheered up, however, when he saw the headline in Toon Times about a scientist cloning a sheep. The headline gave Itchy the idea to clone Scratchy, and he was able to build a cloning machine and produce Scratchy clones from a smear of Scratchy's blood on a meat cleaver.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
- Toon Times is seen during the Itchy & Scratchy cartoon "The Tears of a Clone".
- The newspaper headline is a reference to Dolly the real-life cloned sheep.
