2011 Fox Simpsons fan initiative, known to the community as Nedna, was a vote launched after the airing of the season 22 finale, "The Ned-liest Catch". It decided the future of Ned Flanders and Edna Krabappel's relationship. The result was Pro Nedna.
Description[edit]
After the episode originally aired, fans could decide the future of Ned and Edna at www.thesimpsons.com, by voting "Pro Nedna" or "No Nedna". All summer long, "I'm Pro Nedna" and "I'm No Nedna" wallpaper, videos, Twitter badges and Facebook icons were available to download and post.
The decision[edit]
The result was revealed in the season 23 premiere "The Falcon and the D'ohman" on September 25, 2011. The result of the poll was Pro Nedna. At the start of the episode, Comic Book Guy mentioned the result of Nedna would be hidden in the episode. Later in the episode, Wayne Slater was disturbing couples around town in the night with his nightmare. Ned and Edna were one of the couples seen together in bed. Edna winked.
