"My Octopus and a Teacher" is the eighteenth episode of broadcast season 33 of The Simpsons and the seven hundred twenty-fourth episode overall. It originally aired on April 24, 2022. The episode was written by Carolyn Omine and directed by Rob Oliver. It guest stars Kerry Washington as Rayshelle Peyton.

After Bart finds out that his new teacher, Rayshelle Peyton, is the same woman who saved him from drowning, he struggles to handle his feelings toward her. Meanwhile, Lisa befriends an octopus, about whom she makes a documentary...
