Synopsis
- Marge hopes to save Springfield Elementary by inviting a reclusive British children's author to appear at the school's book fair. But Homer botches his assignment of picking the author up at the airport, and the drunken pepper pot leads him on a desperate wild chase to get her to the school on time.[2][4]

The episode was revealed in The Simpsons D23 panel on August 15, 2026. The episode is a homage to the film Get Him to the Greek. The episode also features homages to popular children's books by Richard Scarry, Make Way for Ducklings, and The Stinky Cheese Man.[2]
