Comic Book Guy leaped into a large room filled with piles of comic books scattered across the floor, including a copy of Captain Squid.[1]
Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, and other Springfield children gathered around a pot overflowing with comic books at the end of a rainbow, with additional issues scattered across the grass, including Captain Squid.[2]
Springfield children and Shelbyville children competed over comic books, each clutching their favorite issues while additional comics flew through the air and lay scattered across the ground. Among the titles in circulation were Radioactive Man, Radiation Dude, Itchy & Scratchy, and Captain Squid, as the children argued and struggled to claim the books for themselves.[3]
