Homer's ceremony.
The Employee of the Month Ceremony is a ceremony held monthly at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant to recognize the best employee.
History[edit]
When Homer Simpson saved Springfield from a catastrophic meltdown, he is hailed as a hero. Mr. Burns decides Homer will be the next Homer "Employee of the Month" in a ceremony at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, and gives him a plaque and a Krusty Ham, with perks like a reserved parking space next to Mr. Burns. Waylon Smithers, Jr. is shocked because he has been always Employee of the Month.[1]
A sign of Employee of the Month with a picture was seen on different occasions.[2][3] On April Fools' Day, Homer was voted Employee of the Month as a joke.[4]
