History[edit]
When Kent Brockman was tracking down Snake, who stole from his dressing room at Channel 6 Studios, he went to the library after finding Snake's library card. Brockman discovered that the library was a front for a fencing racket and that they were using books to smuggle stolen property. Snake grabbed a copy of The Guns of Navarrone, thinking a gun would be hidden inside, but discovered it was just a normal book. This allowed Brockman to catch up with him and beat him.

The Guns of Navarrone is a misspelling of the novel The Guns of Navarone by Alistair MacLean.
