In an effort to get the nerds to loosen up and live a little, Homer decided to take them on a road trip with several cases of beer. His plan fizzled when Marge made him take Bart and Lisa along, and they went to a petting zoo instead.[1]
Homer took Bart and Lisa to the Springfield Petting Zoo. When they got there, they found that they weren't allowed to touch the animals, with Lisa saying that too much contact would traumatize them. Homer and Bart talked about other zoos they could make instead, such as a wrestling zoo or a tasting zoo, which traumatized the animals.[2]
