When Marge and Waylon Smithers were arrested for wine forgery, their trial was held at Springfield Wine Court. Despite the prosecutor's case against them, they were found not guilty as Mr. Burns bribed the judge to let them off.
The court system at Springfield Wine Court was modeled on the French legal system.
