Rail Against the Machine is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Monorail content update.

Pt. 1[edit]

On August 19, 2015 Woohoo! I love this new job. I'm no longer hauling trash -- I'm hauling human trash! It is a lot of fun up here. Speeding over Springfield, at speeds slightly below that of a car. The wind in our hair, from the small fan you have in this completely sealed-in compartment. Hmm... completely sealed-in compartment and me after breakfast is never a good combination. I'm sure it won't hurt anything if we just crack open this window a little... Task: "Make Lisa Open a Monorail Window". The job takes place at Monorail Stations and takes 30 seconds. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 2[edit]

After completing Off Track We need to reduce the weight of the train to make it safer. This sounds like a job for my fusion-powered anti-gravity engine. But that thing is the size of a house. Which is a job for my matter-compressing Frink Shrink Machine! Actually, I was thinking we could use plastic in the construction process. Yes, I suppose that would work too. And recycling plastic would be good for the environment! BOO!!! BOO!!! BOO!!! And save us money. YAY!!! YAY!!! YAY!!! If I wasn't ultimately getting my way, I'd be a lot angrier. Task: "Place the Plastic Depot". It takes 6 seconds. Task: "Sort Through Junk to Find Plastic" (x40). Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 3[edit]

After tapping on Conductor Homer's exclamation mark Woohoo! Back in the monorail conducting business! I feel as free as a bird! A bird that can only move in one direction along a predetermined path. But at least I'm not a garbage man anymore. No more smelly trash or wild animals. Isn't that right, Bitey? *chitter* The following dialogue only appeared prior to the August 27 update Why yes, the windows DO open now. Task: "Make Conductor Homer Take Bitey for a Walk". The job takes 24 hours. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 4[edit]

After completing Pt. 3 Cool, a monorail! I always wanted to derail a train by putting a penny on each side of the track, but I've never saved up two pennies. With a monorail I just need one! Bart, that's just an old wives' tale. The only thing that'll be damaged if you put a penny on the track is your penny. Really? Cool! Task: "Reach Level 12 and Build Bart's Treehouse". Task: "Make Bart Put a Penny on the Monorail Track". The job takes place at Monorail Stations and takes 30 seconds. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 5[edit]

After tapping on Conductor Homer's exclamation mark All aboard... Homer, we're already moving. All aboard... Dad, you look tired. Maybe you should take a break. I'll take a break when we get to the end of the line. But the track goes in a circle. All aboard... Task: "Make Conductor Homer Conduct the Monorail". The job takes place at Monorail Stations and takes 12 hours. Quest reward: 100 and 10
