Gear Up For Savings! is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Thanksgiving 2014 content update.

Pt. 1[edit]

On November 24
Marge - Sad Homer, why do you look so worried?
Homer - Scared It's coming, Marge!
Homer - Scared It's been on the radio, on TV and I've read it in the Springfield Shopper!
Homer - Scared Black Friday is almost here!
Marge We go through this every year. Black Friday is nothing to be afraid of.
Homer - Scared Yes it is! Why else would people call it Black Friday?!
Homer - Scared If it was a good thing, they'd call it Happy Friday.
Homer - Scared I'd even accept Not-So-Good Friday.
Task: "Make Homer Hide in the Basement". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 2 hours.
Quest reward: Cash100 and XP10

On November 26
Homer - Serious Lisa, take these emergency supplies into the emergency basement and put them next to the emergency generator.
Sacagawea Lisa - Worried What's the emergency?
Homer - Serious The evil of Black Friday has returned and this one is being advertised as a "the biggest blow out of the year!"
Homer - Serious The TV said, "Everything must go!"
Homer - Scared We're "everything!!"

Homer - Serious Mm-hmm. Spoken like a true Black Friday zombie.
Homer - Angry Now prove to me the zombies haven't laid eggs in your brain by getting those supplies into the basement now!
Task: "Make Homer Fortify the Basement". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 4 hours.
