History[edit]
While interviewing Reverend Lovejoy about the statue of Jebediah supposedly crying, Kent Brockman commented that these sorts of miracles only happen in "distant, troubled lands like Nicaragua and Michigan".[1]
Barney missed Larry's funeral because he was in Nicaragua to build a community well for the poor.[2]
