Bart the Magnificent is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #39.

Synopsis[edit]

Bart performs magic tricks at the Springfield Retirement Castle.

Plot[edit]

At the Springfield Retirement Castle, Bart performs magic tricks for the seniors. He invites Grampa onto the stage to help him with his next trick. Bart asks Grampa for the largest denomination bill in his wallet, and Grampa hands him a $500 bill from 1934. Bart then has Grampa and the audience close their eyes while he performs the trick. Bart then leaves the stage, leaving Grampa to fall asleep onstage. Bart then goes to Apu to buy a Squishee with the $500 bill.
