Bringing Down Baby is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #29.
Synopsis[edit]
- Gerald gets so many balloons from Nelson that he floats into the air, and the only person who can save him is Maggie.
Plot[edit]
The Simpson family attend the Springfield "Daze" Annual Picnic. After setting up at an empty table, Maggie locks eyes with Gerald. Meanwhile, Nelson has stolen all the balloons a man was giving out at the picnic. He hands them to Gerald, who immediately floats off into the sky. Seeing Gerald start to cry, Maggie grabs onto Bart's kite and uses it to get close to Gerald. She grabs hold of her rival, leaving the two of them floating away with the balloons. A bird flies by and Maggie grabs hold of it, with the bird pulling them along.
