History[edit]
Mr. Burns claimed that his Spruce Moose could fly from New York to the Belgian Congo in 17 minutes.[1]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
- The "Belgian Congo" was renamed to the "Democratic Republic of the Congo" in 1960 after the country gained independence. This is an example of Burns' antiquated vocabulary.
