He was the voice of the Army Colonel in The Simpsons episode "G.I. (Annoyed Grunt)" and reprised his role as Jack Bauer in the episode "24 Minutes".
His father Donald Sutherland played the voice of the curator of the Springfield Museum in "Lisa the Iconoclast".
