What it is

Bart Simpson first spotted this comet and reported it. Later it was revealed that the comet was on a collision course with Springfield. Professor Frink tried to stop this comet by shooting a rocket at it, but the rocket missed it and crashed into the only way out of Springfield, dooming the townsfolk. It seemed that there was no hope left, but the comet burned up in the atmosphere and was reduced to the size of a chihuahua's head.

This comet is a testament to the city's dumb luck and extremely bad environmental policies.

Where is it now?

The comet is presently inside a jar inside the Simpson family home on Evergreen Terrace. It belongs to Bart Simpson and he'll let anyone see it as long as they pay him five dollars and do a good impression of Huckleberry Hound.
