The Town Square is at the center of Downtown Springfield.
Desription
The town square is an irregular rectangle of grass and trees. The town hall and the county courthouse are on opposite ends of the square. The Statue of Jebediah Springfield is located at the center of the square.
History
Crowds usually gather around here on public occasions. Often, these crowds are angry and are crowding outside the town hall to complain. The catapulting of Homer Simpson was also going to take place here but it resulted in Rex Banner getting catapulted instead.[1]
