"The Beagle Has Landed" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show. The episode marked the debut of Poochie. Comic Book Guy later proclaimed it to be the "Worst. Episode. Ever!" and many other Springfieldians, including Bart, Lisa, Milhouse and Marge reacted negatively to it.
Plot
Itchy and Scratchy are in a car together, on their way to the fireworks factory. As they drive, they pass several signs indicating how much further it is to the factory. They stop to pick up a hitchhiker, who turns out to be new character Poochie (voiced by Homer Simpson).
