- An easter egg that is mentioned in the teaser trailer is that if you tap Homer ten times in a row, you will receive 10 donuts and the Jebediah Springfield statue.
- If you look to the top left of your Springfield along the "mountainside" you will see an area with 4 radioactive waste barrels clustered together with a burning bush. If you purchase that plot of land; you can keep the burning bush which is there for free and add it to your city. The burning bush is worth 20 donuts (
). If you look along the "ocean" and 7 tiles down there is an additional free burning bush. Again if the plot is purchased the bush is free to keep. There is also a third burning bush in the far easternmost corner.
