- The Simpson family runs into the living room to see Moe there. He shouts "happy 500th episode" and a party starts with a band, confetti and smoke. Lisa then stops the party while reading The Comprehensive 20 Year Simpsons Episode Guide and works out that it is actually episode 499. Moe then says that FOX won't do this again, and everyone is sad.
