History

When they had a meeting about where they should hold the next Olympics, they read a letter from Lisa Simpson asking them to bring the Olympic Torch through Springfield. The man in charge decided to bring the Olympics to Springfield, instead of just the Torch. The entire committee disagreed but it went ahead anyway as he had the power to do so.
