The restaurant once employed Groundskeeper Willie until he quit and returned to his old job at Springfield Elementary.
Bart, posing as "Woodrow," made a date to meet Mrs. Krabappel for dinner at the restaurant, but stood her up[1].
Homer took his family to The Gilded Truffle after he took over Krusty's time slot on Channel 6. While there, he signed an autograph for Ralph Wiggum and dreamed of saving Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy from assassination [2].
