Dead Lobster is a restaurant located on Fast-Food Boulevard in Springfield. It serves seafood, specializing in lobster. It was destroyed in an explosion caused by Homer Simpson.
History
When Homer stopped at Krusty Burger, he saw a drive-up wastebasket and decided to use it to dispose of all of the accumulated trash in his car. Among the items Homer threw out was a leaky car battery. Acid from the battery dripped into the ground and then onto a gas main, causing a gas leak. Meanwhile, Homer finished with his trash, lit a cigar, and tossed the lit match into the wastebasket.
