History
Homer found the program when he was disappointed by the FOX drama Boobs and decided to change the TV channel. Homer happened to go to the channel that was airing Jock Center. As Homer watched, the anchors announced that the NFL was expanding and a new city would receive a pro football team. Homer then took on the project of persuading the NFL to choose Springfield as the city to host the new team.
