However, these activities didn't work and the public still hated them. Theo then told the group that he had a drastic idea which could work, but the group rejected the idea because it was drastic. Big Butt Skinner was a giant weather balloon altered by Bart Simpson to resemble Principal Skinner, featuring a sign that read "Hi, I'm Big Butt Skinner." It had the prototype name of Buttzilla.

Springfield Elementary School's Science Week ended with the launch of a weather balloon organized by Principal Skinner, who proudly described it as the school's "most propane-explosion-free science week ever."
