Miracle Mile is a commercial district in Springfield known for its numerous large advertising mascots and oversized signs.
History[edit]
During the grand opening of Lard Lad Donuts, Homer Simpson visited the area to purchase the restaurant's famous colossal donut, but later stole the giant donut displayed on the Lard Lad statue after receiving a regular-sized replacement. Shortly afterward, a mysterious ionic disturbance brought the Miracle Mile's giant advertising mascots to life, causing them to leave their displays and begin a destructive rampage throughout Springfield.
