History[edit]
After receiving a $500 settlement payment from the Krusty O's cereal lawsuit, Bart Simpson visited The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop looking for something to buy. The shop owner offered him what he described as the "ultimate pog." Bart initially considered purchasing it but ultimately used the money to buy Bleeding Gums Murphy's rare album instead, Sax on the Beach.[1]
After Bart sold his soul to Milhouse for five dollars, Milhouse later traded it to the Comic Book Guy in exchange for a set of ALF pogs. When Bart desperately tried to buy his soul back, Milhouse proudly showed him the collectible pogs and exclaimed, "Remember ALF? He's back... in pog form." Bart was horrified that his soul had been exchanged for a novelty collectible, prompting him to rush to the comic book store in an attempt to recover it.[2]
