The Centenneplex was scheduled to replace the Aztec Theater in two weeks time, with the new building set to be dropped on top of the Aztec Theater. However, a huge tidal wave passed over Springfield and washed the theater out to sea. Horatio McCallister and Gil Gunderson, who were stranded on a small island, went into the theater and watched Cast Away 2: Gilligan's Revenge.
