The Internal Revenue Service, IRS for short, is the revenue service of the United States federal government.

A ISR surveillance satellite was transported aboard the space shuttle Corvair.[2]
A regional director of the IRS attended a dinner party at the Simpson home and initially decided to cancel a planned audit due to the evening's success. However, after the dinner was ruined by an incident involving puppies hidden inside the turkey, he left angrily and indicated that the audit would proceed.[3]
