Comic Story information

Willie and the Weasels is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #34.
History[edit]
- Groundskeeper Willie tells Bart's class about his history as a member of The Weasels, the biggest Scottish band of all time.
Plot[edit]
The kids in Bart's class hear a strange drumming sound echoing through the pipes. They investigate and find Groundskeeper Willie drumming on a pipe in the basement. Willie tells the kids that he used to be in a band called The Weasels, who Martin says led the Scottish Invasion in pop music's grooviest era. Willie then explains that his band members were Duncan McGregor, Angus McDuff, and Geordie McIntyre. The band was extremely popular, although Willie was the most popular member of the band. This led to the rest of the band becoming jealous, and they left Willie in Springfield while on their American tour. They then replaced Willie with a Liverpudlian named Blingo.
Willie tells the kids that he's not bitter over it because his former band member, Duncan, is bitter because he's been stuck performing "Me Love's in the Loo" for the past thirty-something years. Willie then tells them that his biggest disappointment came later in life when his role in Star Wars as Chewbacca was cut.
